Use the Marketplace UI
The SnapsVault web interface lets you browse, search, and download blockchain snapshots from a single place. It's designed to make finding the right snapshot fast, transparent, and accessible without using the CLI.
Accessing the Marketplace
Open the marketplace at snapsvault.xyz. You'll see a list of available snapshots across supported networks.

Browsing Snapshots
Use the catalog to locate snapshots for your target chain and environment.
- Browse by chain (e.g. Celestia, Namada)
- View snapshot type (archival, pruned)
- Check block height and timestamp
- See contributor name and size
- Copy direct download links
Each snapshot includes metadata to help you verify what you're downloading: pruning mode, compression type, chain ID, block height, and hash.

Filtering Snapshots
Use the filters in the sidebar or top bar to narrow down results:
- Network: Choose a specific chain
- Type: Filter by archival or pruned
- Contributor: See snapshots from a specific publisher
- Height/Date: Find snapshots from a particular block range or time period

Viewing Snapshot Details
Click on any snapshot to view full details:
- Chain ID: Confirms the exact network
- Block Height: Shows the snapshot's sync point
- Size: Helps estimate download time and storage needs
- Pruning Method: Indicates whether full history is included
- SHA-256 Hash: For integrity verification after download
- Download Link: Direct HTTPS link to the archive

Downloading Snapshots
To download a snapshot:
- Select the snapshot that matches your node configuration
- Verify the metadata (chain ID, type, pruning method)
- Copy the download link or click to start the download
- Verify the SHA-256 hash after download completes

Best Practices
- Always verify the integrity hash matches after downloading
- Check that the chain ID and pruning mode match your node configuration
- Prefer recent snapshots for faster catch-up
- Review contributor history for trusted sources
